JOB DUTIES: - Responsible for cleaning and disinfection of assigned areas - Clean floors and surfaces around the market - Dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows. Clean restrooms, including restocking dispensers emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals. - Vacuums, empties trash and replaces liners. - Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies. - Transport dirty linens to correct areas to be cleaned and restock areas with clean linens. - Assist other departments when needed. to ensure optimum service to the guests. - Stages, sets, and takedown of tables and chairs for events. - Performs additional duties as needed. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - Willingness to perform hands-on work in and around Pybus Market, including various set-up, take-down and janitorial duties. - The ability to consistently lift up to 15lbs; frequently up to 25lbs and on occasion up to 50lbs. WORK CONDITIONS: -Indoor and outdoors - Fast-paced environment ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to Operations Manager NEW SKILLS TO LEARN: - Janitorial - Time management - Customer service - Problem solving - Health and safety procedures - Organization - Cleaning routines - Teamwork - Audio and video management - Maintenance and repair - Various tools usage: Electric drill, snow thrower, etc. To be eligible for this internship, you must meet the following requirements; 1. Have authorization to work in the United States 2. Be low-income for your family size 3.
