Join our Volunteer team to help Meals on Wheels in King County fight hunger! As a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, you will belong to a team committed to helping homebound seniors maintain their health and independence with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service. A volunteer is needed to call Meals on Wheels participants for their weekly order on Wednesdays, 9 am – 12:30 pm, at the Renton Senior Activity Center. Training will be provided. We are looking for someone who is reliable and interested in volunteering long-term. Qualifications: Good communication and people skills, reliable, good cheer, and a commitment to the well-being of homebound elders. Requirements: Complete an application, consent to a background check, be able to lift 15lbs, be at least 18 years of age, and have a Washington state driver's license or ID.
