Full Time: 6:30am – 3:30pm / Monday – Friday 401k + health, dental and vision insurance available $20 - $25 an hour This position is a key member of the leadership team and directly reports to the President/Owner. The role facilitates projects while filling in a critical communication component within the different facets of the company. Major responsibilities include: Freighting • Checking material when it arrives to our shop. • Properly labeling all new material. • Organizing material location within our warehouse. • Scheduling deliveries with a variety of different brokers. • Tracking shipments and relaying information to internal team or potentially clients. • Communicating with Sales team on shipment pricing. • Being clear via emails and phone calls with vendors. • Creating proper shipping documentation. • Having strict attention to detail for all shipping instructions. Job Site Deliveries • Preparing all building delivery requirements in advance. • Professional communication with clients and building managers. • Arranging all material needed to deliver prior to pick up. • Operating a forklift. • Creating and storing delivery tickets and transmittals. Inventory Record Keeping • Check standard sundry stock about twice a week. • Confirm we have materials required in stock for upcoming projects. • Verify we are getting the best price from vendors and alert sales team of any pricing increases. • Keeping materials organized and ready for field crew teams when needed. Tool Stocking • Keep our “Master Tool List” updated and organized. • Mark locations within the shop for where tools can be located. • Make sure tools are locked up and signed out when taken. Requirements & Preferences: • Experience managing construction projects preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Email. • Drivers License (forklift and truck driving experienced preferred). • Multitasking • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) • Able to produce to exceptional standards of quality and attention to detail. • Track costs to meet strict budget guidelines.
