Quick and casual, something different, as we resume "traditional" in the future. We appreciate your patience, the last 16 months have been something else and we're just now starting to get things on track. We're planning a much more "normal" or "traditional" pre-release with the NEXT set (Adventures in Forgotten Realms) and appreciate your understanding in this being such a non-traditional event. Also please note: Wizards did not provide prize support with this set as they do with other sets. This is a very unique and special event. You will need to have purchased a kit in store or through our webstore: https://batcave.games/product/modern-horizons-2-prerelease-kit-preorder/ and sign up for one of these slots. Attendence is very limited. You will be given 30-40 minutes for deckbuilding and an hour for the round. The winner will receive a Strixhaven Set Booster and the other participant will receive a promo pack. This event is for people who don't have someone to play at home with and your opponent will be random from your time slot. We will be requiring masks regardless of vaccination status and there is a no food or beverage policy in place right now. We will be utilizing all of the modified allowances from Wizards of the Coast: Players may only shuffle or cut their own decks (You can point to where you would like your opponent to cut their own deck) Cards must remain on the owner’s side of the table when control is changed (Please keep them on your playmat) Cards attached to cards owned by other players should not physically touch (Please keep cards on your playmat) Mechanics that require an opponent to search a player’s library, hand, or graveyard are performed by the owner displaying that zone to the active player without cards changing hands We do ask that you bring a playmat.
