Workrise has an upcoming opportunity and is currently accepting applications for General Labor for a warehousing opportunity in Brockton, MA. $16 - $18 per hour (depending upon experience) This is for 2nd Shift - 12pm - 8pm General Laborer Help other warehouse workers organize and sort the equipment. Employee will be lifting and moving scaffold equipment around the warehouse. The job is 2nd shift, 12:00 PM to 8:00PM. Must have safety toed boots, masks, and long pants. We provide hardhats, gloves, and glasses. Will provide training for the forklift. Responsibilities: Performs general warehousing tasks such as the receiving and storing of parts and material as well as packaging and shipping parts and material and maintains related records. Prepares orders by processing request and supply orders; pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders, and inspect return equipment. Sort and place parts, materials or equipment on racks, shelves, or in bins, and store inventory in the proper location according to Spider standards. Rolls up power cords and wire ropes while inspecting them according to company specifications. Performs daily general housekeeping and janitorial tasks to keep both shop and office spaces clean and orderly. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand for continuous periods of time, walk, have clarity of vision, talk, and hearing. QUALIFICATIONS: Up to 70% of the job may include heavy physical work, heavy lifting, and pushing or pulling of material that may weigh from 50 to 100 pounds The position requires the individual to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, crawl and work in awkward positions or confined spaces throughout the day The position requires the unrestricted use of hands, arms, shoulders, upper/lower back, visual acuity, depth, and color perception Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency Minimum age 18 Provide personal transportation to and from the jobsite Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization Must be able to pass pre-employment 10 panel drug screen For immediate consideration, please submit your resume.
