Accomplished as both a classical and contemporary performer, she has played hundreds of concerts, weddings, and events with repertoire spanning classical to today’s hits! A few of Megan’s most notable performances include playing with Grammy award-winners Michael Bublé & Josh Groban, as well as the Trans Siberian Orchestra, and the Playhouse Square Orchestra. Megan graduated from the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music in 2014. She had many prestigious performing opportunities and served as concertmaster her senior year. Orchestrally, she has since performed with The Firelands Symphony (Ohio), was an attendee of the AIMS program in Graz Austria, was a member of the Ohio Light Opera pit, and has been a substitute with many orchestras such as the Mansfield Symphony (Ohio), the Kentucky Symphony, and more. Equally passionate about contemporary music, Megan has played with many bands and ensembles. In recent years, she has performed onstage with Michael Bublé, Josh Groban, Wesley Bright & the Honeytones, and served as the vio-cellist with the Cleveland rock band, Seafair. She has also been seen with bands such as Remember Jones (pop/soul), The Dan Varner Band (country), The Rainbow Emergency (neo-soul), multiple wedding bands, and more. You may also have seen her performing today’s hits as the violinist-in-residence at the beautiful Marble Room in downtown Cleveland. Currently, Megan is actively freelancing in and around northern Ohio. Specializing in wedding music, she has played for over 300 ceremonies! She especially loves performing for weddings and other special moments, and is able to play any special song request you might have. In her free time, Megan enjoys playing with her pets, making art, and creating original and cover songs using her loop pedal to layer vocals and violin, creating a unique contemporary-classical sound. Megan Sullivan The B Side Lounge is located at the corner of Coventry and Euclid Heights Blvd. in Cleveland Heights; directly below the world famous Grog Shop. B Side offers an ideal location to grab a drink before a concert or dance the night away with some of Cleveland’s best DJ’s. Along with our diverse line up of weekly events, B Side also hosts a slew of special events including monthly Silent Discos, Gumbo dance party, 90’s night + more.
