Join us for a subcontractor outreach event for the UCHealth Parking Garage project on the Anschutz Medical Campus. Swinerton and UCHealth are committed to promoting the participation of small, minority, women, veteran, and disabled veteran business enterprises. We are looking for diversity subcontractors to join us at this event and discuss opportunities for this project. Project DescriptionUCHealth-University of Colorado Hospital is seeking to expand parking services on the Anschutz Medical Campus to handle current and future demands for its outpatient and visitor population with a new parking garage. The proposed six-story, above grade parking garage will be located at the northwest corner of Aurora Court and 16th Avenue replacing the existing visitor Lot 2 adjacent to the Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion (AOP) entrance. The garage is approximately 422,135 GSF and will supply approximately 1,310 outpatient and visitor parking spaces, including 109 ADA spaces and 22 accessible van spaces. The garage will have vertical circulation components as required by code, including two stair towers and an elevator/stair core. The garage will have two access points off the existing AOP drop-off drive and a third will be created off of Aurora Court (egress only). The existing AOP drop-off will be modified slightly to sustain safe and efficient pedestrian and vehicular movement. Landscape, both hardscape and planted, will support preservation of legacy trees on the east and south sides of the garage and create attractive and safe pedestrian circulation on the north and west sides.
