Description
Fake Community Affairs Scammers
Slimy dirtbags attempting to extort money with scheme of offering musicians government grants of $30,000. They are working together as a team. One guy invites you to his session, pretends to become your friend and later says that he got a grant and offers you a phone number to apply via 'texting'. He then insists that you keep him updated. At first, he offered $20 per hour and a nice meal for the session/rehearsal in Valley Streams. Seem as though he would know there is only one 's' in Valley Stream if he lived there for years. They both have problems with typos. Fed EX is supposed to deliver the cash or check to your door within 24 hours. Second guy finally mentions that there is a service charge after informing that you have won the grant and then goes quiet unless you respond with, "How much?" I've heard that folks have paid $2,000 to the scammers.
