Description

Join leaders and candidates in Hudson for a reception, discussion, and screening of Theo Anthony's new film, "All Light, Everywhere." Hailed by the New York Times as "riveting," Theo Anthony's new film, "All Light, Everywhere" is an exploration of the shared histories of cameras, weapons, policing and justice. As surveillance technologies become a fixture in everyday life, the film interrogates the complexity of an objective point of view, probing the biases inherent in both human perception and the lens. Join us in the 326 Warren Street Pocket Park for a free outdoor screening following a reception catered of Kitty's Hudson, and discussion between director and Fourth Ward Alderman candidate Theo Anthony and other elected leaders and candidates from Hudson. Schedule 7:00 pm: Reception 7:45 pm: Candidate discussions with Theo Anthony and Mayor Kamal Johnson, Second Ward Alderwoman Tiffany Garriga (candidate, Second Ward Supervisor), Third Ward Supervisor Michael Chameides, and candidates Michael Hofmann (Treasurer), Claire Cousin (First Ward Supervisor), Art Frick (First Ward Alderman), Rebecca Borrer (Fifth Ward Alderwoman), Mark Bodnar (Fifth Ward Alderman), and others. 8:30 pm: Film screening, "All Light, Everywhere" View the film's trailer.
