After doing his medical school education at BJ Medical College of Ahmedabad and dermatology residency in Civil hospital of Ahmedabad he decided to go to USA for further education. His Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation training was in St. Francis Medical Center affiliated with UPMC and his pain fellowship was at Vanderbilt University. He believes that pain is inevitable and it leads to suffering and in current medicine we have tools to stop the pain and relieve the suffering. He specializes in Intervention Pain Management and runs a fellowship program for intervention pain management in USA.
