Apria Healthcare has an immediate opening in our Indianapolis IN location for a Production Technician - Oxygen Transfill Lead. • $500 sign-on bonus • First Shift • Monday – Friday • Training will be provided • Team Oriented Operation • HVAC controlled work environment (Excluding BPA) • Standardized work flow and work stations (Lean Six Sigma) Responsibilities • Oversees the shipping, receiving and distribution of oxygen cylinders. • Ensures oxygen cylinders are efficiently distributed to other branch offices within the region by organizing equipment deliveries. • Ensures oxygen cylinders delivered to patients are accurately and efficiently filled. • Performs quality assurance checks on all products received before stocking or distributing goods. • Hooks up empty oxygen cylinders to filling manifolds (bulk oxygen tank hookups). • Fills high-pressure oxygen cylinders with oxygen. Verifies filling requirements. • Maintains files of work performed including lot and batch number information, cylinder maintenance and inspection logs and materials required by the F.D.A. • Conducts routine and periodic inventory counts of cylinders. • Assigns, directs work, and coaches staff. Schedules and organizes work assignments. • Ensures both group and individual productivity standards are met. • Typically oversees 3 - 6 nonexempt employees. • Keeps informed of and complies with JCAHO, federal, state, and local requirements as they apply to warehouse functions. • Performs other duties as required. Requirements • Must be at least 18 years of age. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Pass company standard background check. • Three years’ experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
