THE POSITION: This position is the ideal mix of working out in the field and interacting with the public. It includes utilizing a variety of maintenance, construction, and repair skills to ensure that parks and waterways facilities, backcountry snowmobile trails, vehicles, vessels and equipment are in good working order, and operate smoothly. • $15.90-$18.50 per hour. DO YOU QUALIFY? • Do you possess a valid Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), and are you insurable? • Do you have a minimum of a minimum of three (3) years of related work experience in grounds maintenance, building maintenance, heavy equipment operation, mechanics, electrical, plumbing, welding, or millwright work; or equivalent combination of education and related experience • Do you have a high school diploma or a general education degree (GED)? • Do you possess or have the ability to obtain within (1) one year a valid First Aid Card and CPR certification? • Do you possess or have the ability to obtain within (1) one year a State of Idaho Boater Safety Certification and Department Vessel Operators Certification? • Do you enjoy working in the back county in the winter? This position requires frequent hiking in the backcountry and performing heavy physical labor. • MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM. THIS IS THE JOB FOR YOU IF: • You have exceptional customer service skills. This position performs public outreach activities, collects user fees and issues civil citations. • You have experience maintaining commercial or Public Park grounds facilities. • You would enjoy improving our park and marine facilities. • You enjoy working in the back county in the winter. • You have a Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License.
