Calvary Tabernacle's Strong Man competition. The reigning Champions from Strongman 2020 will be the only team that remains the same. All other teams can be formed at the will and discretion of each participant. **Each team of 4 must have at least one Female Participant** Event List: Shotput Throw, Discus Throw, Tug o War, Tire Flip Race, Car Pull Each team will compete against one another in each event. The team that wins the most events will win the competition. Tournament Rules: Shotput and Discus throw will be done by one person from your team that you choose. Each individual will get two throws and the judge will measure and score your best throw. Whoever has the longest throw, while using the correct throwing technique, will win. **You can not throw the shotput like a baseball. You can not throw the disc like a frisbee. Proper throwing techniques must be used to throw both shotput and discus. If the person steps outside of the circle during the throw, a foul will be called and the participant will have another chance at throwing. After Two fouls the participant will be disqualified and they will not score for their team.** Tug o War will be a team vs team event. Each team will be placed in a Round Robin bracket. All teams will compete against one another. **No cleats and gloves are allowed. You can not wrap the rope around any body part including hands, waists, or arms. You must simply clinch the rope. If a participant falls down, they must let go of the rope. If they do not let go of the rope when they fall they will forfeit the match.** Tire Flip Race will be a three person team event. Two teams will go head to head. Each team will do the Tire Flip Race twice, competing against two different teams. Time will be kept and the team with the best average time out of two races will be declared the winner. **To complete the race, the whole tire must cross the finish line. One second will be deducted each time the tire rolls vertically. The tire must be flipped end-over-end while maintaining a horizontal position at the end of the flip.** The Car Pull Race will be a two person team event. Each team will select two people to pull the car. When the whistle is blown the team will begin to pull. Time will be kept and whoever scores the fastest time will win. **The entire vehicle (bumper to bumper) must cross the finish line. You can only stand upright on two legs when pulling the vehicle. Crawling on all fours is not prohibited. Both participants must pull the vehicle. Shortening the rope/strap in anyway is not allowed. Pushing from behind the vehicle is not allowed.** At the end of the tournament, the judges will add up the scores for all the teams and the winning team will be declared.
