Indianapolis Black Documentary Film Festival invites you to our Opening Reception on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Indianapolis Art Center
Join us for a special screening of PROM NIGHT IN MISSISSIPPI followed by a Q&A with Filmmaker, Paul Saltzman. Grab some chairs or a blanket and settle in for an outdoor screening on the beautiful grounds of the Indianapolis Art Center. Chairs will be provided if you prefer to travel light.
This family-friendly documentary is sure to inspire our guests to discuss pressing issues of today and stimulate a lively discussion with its Filmmaker.
Enjoy a delicious boxed dinner from Sweet & Savory Catering; known for some of the best fried chicken in Indianapolis.
In the event of inclement weather, all activities will be moved indoors and the documentary will be screened in the Indianapolis Art Center theatre.
Make plans to join us Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Central Library Indianapolis for a full day of documentary screenings beginning at 10am. All screenings are FREE. Registration is required and will be available July 9 at www.ibdff.com
We look forward to hosting you at this exciting event!
