A DAY IN THE LIFE OF GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE LANDSCAPE TECH As a Golf Course Maintenance Exotics Tech, you will have the responsibility of performing daily golf course landscape maintenance in a very safe and detail-oriented manner. You will be operating walk-behind mowers, reel mowers, and rotary riding mowers. You will be operating two cycle hand tools including, but not limited to; string trimmers, chain saws, pole saws, and hedge trimmers. Granular fertilizers, wetting agents, and pesticides will be applied and monitored. Responsible for operation of tracker drawn equipment including but not limited to; top dressers, topdress trailers, front-end loaders, tractor-drawn sprayers, and bush hog mowers. This role will require you to be responsible for the safety of yourself, your fellow employees, and our members and guests. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE OPERATOR Mechanical experience helpful, but not required Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. Ability to work for long periods of time walking, standing, or stooping. Flexible schedule. Ability to work weekends and holidays.
