Exclusive hours for seniors ages 50 and up at Happy Hollow Park & Zoo Please join us for Senior Hour, Happy Hollow's 2021 Covid-modified stand-in for Senior Safari! Guests ages 50 and up can enjoy FREE access to Happy Hollow Park & Zoo a full hour before we are open to the general public and FREE parking. Enjoy a pleasant walk through our beautiful park, visit our two zoo areas and purchase a snack from The Picnic Basket’s Grab & Go snack cart. Senior Hour attendees must arrive at Happy Hollow between 9 and 10 a.m. for free admission but may stay after 10 a.m. if desired. To allow everyone to safely enjoy their visit and maintain social distancing from other households, attendance is limited to 400 guests. Make your reservation now to secure your space! Walk-ups may not be accommodated. Please give us a call at 408-794-6400 if you have any questions or concerns. Please note: For the health of our animals, guests and staff, face coverings are required at all times during your visit at Happy Hollow. Guests must be 50 years old to attend Senior Hour. Younger guests may enter the Park & Zoo when Happy Hollow opens to the general public at 10 a.m. Free admission through Senior Hour is only available between 9 and 10 a.m. Guests of any age entering the zoo at 10 a.m. or later must have a paid reservation.Happy Hollow’s rides and Puppet Castle Theater have not yet reopened. Senior Hours will not include any extra activities. Senior Safari is expected to return in 2022 with all the frills! All guests must enter Happy Hollow from the Main Parking Lot located at 748 Story Road in order to pass through the health check station on the Bent Bridge. Other entrances are unavailable at this time.This event may change to match the most current State, County, or City guidelines.
