Description

STOP FLAGGING FOR REMOVAL! THIS CONFORMS TO CRAIGSLIST PERMISSIBLE POSTINGS FOR REHOMING OF PETS! We are not a breeder. Our home is located in rural Elgin and two stray mother cats had these kittens on our property. These were taken under our care after some of the littermates were eaten by coyotes and the mothers brought the kittens under our deck and into our yard: we have 4 large dogs which are not cat or kitten friendly. We are hoping folks will see these and be willing to provide homes. Modest, NEGOTIABLE, rehoming fee of $10 each is requested (but is negotiable!) All kittens: eat dry kibble, use litter box, play with litter mates and with toys. Kittens #1, #2, #3 (#4 is no longer available because a family adopted it.) Born March 24. Not sure, but all appear to be male. Born wild, found with mom at 4 weeks, transferred into an outdoor pen (for safety). We are working on their human interaction/socializing. They are still skittish. Kittens #5 & #6: Also believe both are male. Birth date unknown, age is approx. 7 weeks, we guess. Prefer not to separate at this age. Handled daily to socialize, are a little timid, but coming along. Please do not contact us if you are not willing to have your kittens sterilized as soon as they are eligible. Do not contact us if you cannot pick up (we will not deliver). When responding, please include the # that tells us which kitten(s) you are interested in so we can advise if still available. As of 06/08/2021, #4 (black with white tipped back paws) has been adopted, but all others are still available. Spay/neuter your kittens and cats; help control the stray and feral cat population.
