The Optimist Club of Reno invites you to join us on Saturday, August 7, 2021 for a tropical themed Luau fundraiser. The Luau benefits our various youth programs and includes a Polynesian dinner, live Hawaiian music, Hula Dancers, Hula lessons, games, raffle, and a silent auction. Optimist International celebrated their 50th anniversary this year. All Optimist Clubs worldwide are dedicated to “Bringing Out the Best in Kids”. Our members are very involved in the community and we each do our part to serve local youth through our many programs. Some of the programs your support provides include youth participation in the Robotics Club, Oratorical Contest, Essay Contest, Optimist Scholarships, and the Optimist Junior Golf Championship to name a few. We also support our Police and First Responders, and the Military by formally recognizing their efforts.
