Come tour the facilities at the Truist Culinary & Hospitality Innovation Center (CHI) this fall as we celebrate our first anniversary! Head Back to School at CHI!Join the staff of the Truist Culinary & Hospitality Innovation Center (CHI) as it celebrates the first anniversary of GTC's newest location. CHI will host the first in a series of in-person open house events on Thursday, Aug. 19. You’ll get to tour the beautiful culinary studio and training kitchen, watch and taste as CHI’s chef-instructors perform a live cooking demonstration, and ask questions about all of the programs CHI offers: Fun classes for home cooksTeam-building options for businessesShort-term training for jobseekersAfter your tour, stick around for the Third Thursday Makers Market at Poe West, featuring the Project Host food truck, live music and products made by local entrepreneurs. The first in-person open house of 2021 is set for Aug. 19. RSVP now, or select another date. We look forwarding to meeting you! UPDATE ON COVID-19Based on available data, masks are now optional for all employees and students based on the individual's comfort level. Those who are unvaccinated are strongly encouraged to continue wearing masks.
