PALM HARBOR, FL — A 43-year-old Palm Harbor woman was hospitalized Tuesday evening after being attacked by an alligator while walking her dog near a small lake in Lansbrook Village off Pine Ridge Boulevard. According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the woman was walking her dog on a leash when the alligator attacked, biting her on her lower leg. The FWC called a trapper to remove the 7-foot-long gator from the area.
