Description
NEW HYDE PARK, NY — A New Hyde Park student has won a national poster-making contest about children's online safety.
Theodora Dukas — a seventh-grader at New Hyde Park Memorial High School — is one of 13 winners of MS-ISAC's "Kids Safe Online" competition. The nonprofit, which is primarily supported by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, serves as a central cybersecurity resource for the nation's state, local, tribal, and territorial governments.
Dukas' artwork will be featured in MS-ISAC's cyber safety activity book in October as part of National Cybersecurity Awareness Month. The activity book will also include cybersecurity-related crossword puzzles, word searches, and coloring pages.
