Inspirational and informative message from Garry "G" Cobb tackling issues men face
Garry Cobb transitioned from an 11-year career as a NFL linebacker and became a popular WIP sports radio talk show host and a FOX29 Eagles TV analyst. He spent his first six years with the Detroit Lions, where he was the team’s defensive captain for three years and led them to the playoffs in two of those years. He then spent three years with the Philadelphia Eagles and enjoyed a four-sack NFL Defensive Player of Week performance while there. Garry finished his NFL career with two years in Dallas and led the Cowboys in sacks in one of those seasons. In 2002, Garry received an award from President George W. Bush for his decades of work mentoring urban youth. He played his college ball at the University of Southern California and starred on a National Championship team in 1979 with the Trojans.
