WEST SPRINGFIELD, VA — Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to a fire at a West Springfield townhouse Tuesday. The fire's location was the 8700 block of Ridge Hollow Court. Units found light smoke coming from the first floor of the middle-unit townhouse. The fire was extinguished, and no extension was found. No injuries were reported by the fire department. There was no immediate word on the fire's cause. UPDATE: townhouse fire in the 8700 block of Ridge Hollow Court, in West Springfield area. Fire is now out. No extension.
