7 HCPSS Students Receive Scholastic Art And Writing Awards

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Seven Howard County Public School System high school students received national medals this year from the Scholastic art and writing awards program. The awards program is the nation's longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens. The following students earned gold medals: Tammy Chen, Centennial High School;Yinxi Chen, Atholton High School;Michelle Lee, River Hill High School; andNaomi Ling, River Hill High School, who also won a silver medal. The following students received silver medals: Elhassan, Hammond High School; andAshna Pandya, Glenelg High School.
