All individuals arrested or charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. REPORTS ROBBERY, 2021-06070018, 3200 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 1:06 a.m. on June 7, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery by force. Upon arrival, it was determined that the female victim and a male witness were walking in the area when they were approached by the unknown male suspect. After a brief conversation, the male suspect offered the individuals a ride home. As they approached the vehicle, the female victim proceeded to make a phone call, during which the suspect asked her why she was on the phone. The suspect then grabbed the victim's phone and wallet, threw the items to the ground, and attempted to grab her purse. A group of witnesses in the area began to approach and the suspect fled the scene in his vehicle. The suspect is described as a Black male with a thin, athletic build, approximately 6'0" – 6'2" tall with black hair, wearing a black t-shirt and black pants. The investigation is ongoing.
