Compensation: DOE $18-$22/hr Employment type: Full-Time Professional and local management company is looking for an experienced, highly motivated, and dedicated Service Technician to provide maintenance for our multi-family community's exteriors, interiors, and common areas. General Requirements include: Dependable, highly-motivated, and organized individual skilled at meeting deadlines and producing high quality and efficient work; team-player, self-motivated, thorough, reliable, willing and able to troubleshoot. Maintenance team members must have their own tools, reliable transportation, cell phone, valid driver's license and insurance. Ability to work weekends and be on-call on a rotating schedule. Diagnose problems and determine the most cost effective method of repair to items. Looking for someone with high attention to detail. Respond to unscheduled emergency repair work providing either temporary or long term repairs as the situation dictates. Perform on-going maintenance of pools, lighting and other systems in need of continuous attention. Maintain the grounds and building exterior in a fashion that enhances curb appeal and increases residents' pride in their homes. Ability to document repairs, complete checklists, create orders and update logbooks. Turn in all of the above on time and in a legible manner. Qualifications for this position: Minimum 1 year of full-time maintenance experience including but not limited to: Painting, drywall repair, appliance repair, plumbing and customer service. Experience with pool maintenance preferred but not required. High school education or equivalent; Reliable transportation; Honest and trustworthy; Exceptional problem solving skills and the ability to respond quickly; Dependable, highly-motivated, and organized individual skilled at meeting deadlines and producing high quality work; Must be a self-starter and self-reliant; Must be a customer service oriented individual; Physical aspects of the job may require heavy lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling, kneeling, stooping, climbing, balancing, and carrying.
