Janitor/Equipment Cleaners at Olson Baking Company - Se Habla Espanol ***NO RESUME OR COVER LETTER REQUIRED*** The Olson Baking Company is a leading manufacturer of Frozen Baked Goods for Grocery Stores all over the US. We are seeking Janitor/Equipment Cleaners with high energy ready to assume full responsibility for the detailed cleaning care of our facilities. We have a great amount of pride in our company and want to find an employee who enjoys cleaning and being part of our team. Position: Janitor Pay: $14.00 to $16.00 (DOE) Type: Part Time/Full Time - Hours Vary Our bakery operates up to 24hrs/7 days a week Our ideal candidate is reliable and works well in a busy environment alongside the rest of our Sanitation Team. Janitors will perform sanitation/cleaning and coordinate all cleaning tasks with production schedules to ensure minimal equipment down time and will clean all bakery equipment and surfaces according to standards set by Olson's Baking Company and the food manufacturing industry. We have implemented various safety measures in our facility to protect our team members. This includes: • Daily temperature and O2 checks • Maintaining 6 feet for social distancing • Everyone on site is required to wear a face mask • Thorough cleanings multiple times a day • Making sure everyone is washing and sanitizing their hands DUTIES: • Perform the cleaning of surfaces (floors, ceilings, equipment, ect.) in the entire bakery including internal parts and surfaces of machinery and equipment. • Dispose of bakery waste and scraps in designated areas • Use a variety of cleaning tools such as mops, buckets, vacuums, brooms, air pressure devices and pressure washers during the normal course of a work shift. • Work in a safe manner at all times • Additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to work in a high temperature environment supporting fast paced machinery. • Ability to quickly learn new job tasks and flexibility to work in different jobs as needed. • Must have ability to work thoroughly with attention to detail to meet food safety sanitation standards. • Must be able to work efficiently to meet task completion requirements during equipment down time. • Must be able to work any day, including holidays, or any shift. • Must have reliable attendance to meet employer's attendance standards for 24/7 production facility.
