Become a Kansas City BBQ Society Certified BBQ Judge! The Westland Area Jaycees will be hosting a Kansas City Barbeque Society Certified Judging Class on Saturday, June 19, 2021. Come learn all about how to judge great BBQ and become certified to Judge KCBS events in the future. Registration for non-members-includes the first year membership in KCBS. Check in will begin at 9:30 class will begin promptly at 10am. Three Ticket Options: Non KCBS Member $115 - Includes Judging Class, BBQ Sampling, and first year of KCBS MembershipActive KCBS Member $75 - Includes full Judging Class and BBQ Sampling (Please note must be individual KCBS membership, Family membership does not qualify)Current or Previous KCBS CBJ $20 - Includes classroom instruction but no BBQ Sampling. Intended to be used as a refresher class Westland Area Jaycees are a Chapter of JCI Michigan. A local organization for active young citizens through the Detroit Metro Communities of Westland, Wayne, and Garden City.
