Paramount Theatre Launches 2021 Story Wranglers Writing Roundup

AUSTIN, TX — Paramount Theatre's Summer Writing Roundup is back and will continue through August, officials said Monday. The Story Wranglers Roundup will run through August 16 online to encourage creativity, keep students connected to the arts, and prevent summer learning loss. Every Monday, elementary and middle school students will write stories based on a theme, and the award-winning Paramount Story Wranglers ensemble transforms one lucky story into a music video, digital animation, short film, and more. Stories must be submitted by that Thursday. Each performance will premiere the following Monday when they announce the next theme on austintheatre.org/roundup and on Paramount Education's social media. This week's theme is "Hidden Talents," and kids have until this Thursday, June 10, to submit their stories. To learn more or submit a story of your own, visit Paramount Theatre's website.
