On Wednesday June 8, Turee Pond was treated for the invasive variable milfoil. The boat ramp is posted with information about the treatment used (ProcellaCOR). The herbicide dissipates very quickly and water quality tests are done to verify this. The work was done by a contractor under the supervision of the NH Department of Environmental Services. If you have any questions, contact the pesticide applicator (info on poster by pond) or email Bow Conservation Commission.
