*SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY. NO FLAKES* Hard rock/heavy metal lead guitarist looking for a project. Can join one or start one. I'm very serious about this and I have aspirations about becoming a professional within a few years of completing my degree, so I'm looking for people with the same amount of commitment or more. Good gear ready to go and reliable transportation. I'm 20 years old and currently attend Sac State as a business student. Looking for people around my age. My influences on the guitar range from EVH, Joe Satriani, Kirk Hammett, Randy Rhoads, Tom Morello, Jimmy Page, and Dimebag Darrell to Stanley Jordan, Al di Meola, Allan Holdsworth, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robert Johnson, and Greg Howe. My style includes heavy distortion, syncopated timing, "fast" soloing (I don't consider myself a virtuoso by any means, but former bandmates have called it a virtuoso approach), along with experimenting with my effect pedals to create idiosyncratic sounds and having some progressive elements every now and then. I have an above average knowledge of theory as well (keys, time signatures, pitch axis theory, etc.). I also don't play in any of the extreme down tunings, as one of my things is backlashing against contemporary metal to a degree.
