Memory Gardens Cemetery in Livermore has two openings for full-time, permanent groundskeepers.
Duties
Perform ground burials and other intermentsInstall and maintain markersMow groundsTrim hedgesEdging: lawn parameters, grave markers, etcWateringInstall and maintain sprinkler and irrigation systemsPrepare outdoor areas for various weather conditionsGround maintenance: e.g. planting, fertilizing, weeding, soil conditioning, mulching, applying pesticides, etc.Operate and maintain garden and landscaping equipment: Grasshopper mowers, power edger, dump truck, backhoe, etc.Perform routine maintenance on equipmentOrder supplies and equipment
Experience:
Two or more years groundskeeper experience preferredBackhoe experience preferredWillingness to learnHigh school graduate or GED
