Description

Press release from the Clackamas County Government: 6/8/2021 Knockoff pills containing fentanyl are increasing fatal drug overdoses in first-time users and regular illicit drug users throughout the region and locally. Sometimes called "Blues" for their color or "M30s" for the stamp to make them look like the common pharmaceutical-grade painkiller oxycodone, these illegally manufactured fentanyl-laced pills are easily purchased on the street or online and can be fatal. Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid up to 100 times more potent than morphine and more deadly than heroin. Learn more about opioid safety at https://www.clackamas.us/publichealth/opioidsafety.
