STRONGSVILLE, OH — The Strongsville community Shred Day will be held June 18, the city announced.
Residents can dispose of unwanted documents in the parking lot of the Ehrnfelt Recreation Center from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The service is free for Strongsville residents.
Attendees should enter from Royalton Road (the Greens of Strongsville driveway). Vehicles are prohibited from lining up prior to 8 a.m.
Here is a list of acceptable items for shredding:
Accounting ledger paper, Adding machine tape, Advertisements, Booklets/brochures, Copy machine paper, Colored paper - 20 pound, Computer paper, Envelopes, Faxes, Manila file folders, Greeting cards, Laser printer paper, Legal pad paper, Post-it notes, NCR paper, Receipts and All types of white paper These items will not be accepted at the shredder:
Newspapers, Phone books, Magazines, Binders, Books, Pendaflex folders, Food and candy wrappers, Waxed paper, Photographs, Napkins and Styrofoam containers.
