ZANESVILLE, OH — An Ohio singer claimed the second Golden Buzzer award of the year on America's Got Talent on Tuesday. Nightbirde, also known as Jane Marczewski, 30, comes from Zanesville. She sang an original tune called, "It's OK" for the judges. She said the song was about the past year of her life. She also revealed that she's battling cancer in her lungs, liver and spine. "It's important people know that I'm so much more than the bad things that happen to me," she said. After she performed her original song, the crowd simultaneously rose in a standing ovation. The notoriously curmudgeonly Simon Cowell gasped after the performance and mutter only one word — wow. "Your voice is stunning, absolutely stunning," Cowell said. "There was something about that song, after the way that you casually told us what you're going through." "You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy," she responded. Cowell then leaned over his desk and slapped the golden buzzer, sending confetti and Nightbirde to the stage floor in celebration. Watch the emotional clip below.
