Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 06/08/2021   On Tuesday June 8, 2021 at around 2:00am officers responded to a report of a vehicle crash at I-285 SB at I-20 WB. On scene officers found that one of the involved drivers died in the crash and the Accident Investigation Unit responded. Preliminary investigation found that a tractor-trailer was traveling south on I-285 and exiting to WB I-20. The tractor trailer was stopped in traffic when a Toyota Camry stuck the rear end of the tractor-trailer. The driver of the Camry was killed in the accident. The driver of the truck was not injured. This investigation is continuing. Keep in mind this information is preliminary and may change as new facts are discovered. This press release was produced by the Atlanta Police Department.
