Drummer wanted for dreampop/indiepop/shoegaze/postpunk project. Music is dreamy with both upbeat and slow; happy and melancholy songs. Looking for a dynamic drummer who can hold a steady beat, but also can add energy and syncopation. Well versed in Rock, Jazz, New Wave/Dance, etc., beats. Someone who is enthusiastic and can reliably practice at least once a week, can play shows when they are offered, and has a schedule that puts music playing high on their priority list. Band influences are Slowdive, Lush, Ride, Beach House, DIIV, Radiohead, Zola Jesus, Siouxsie, DIIV, The XX, Portishead, The Cure, Stargazer Lilies, Magic Wands, Interpol, Hammock, Blonde Redhead, Star Horse, We Melt Chocolate, Un.Real and more. We have a couple songs up on all the platforms, and currently finishing an EP. Planning to start playing shows in late August or September. We currently practice in Pasadena, but that may change.
