General Laborer - Immediate Openings in Bellemont Previous experience in a sawmill environment or manufacturing a plus, but not required. We are willing to train individuals who are reliable and work safely. Essential Duties: -Identify lumber coming off the chain, sort lumber according to quality and size, place lumber that matches the required dimensions onto carts. -Safely and accurately organize and stack lumber. -Straighten lumber and safely clear jammed material on the chain. -Clean areas around and under equipment using blowers, shovels, and other equipment as needed. -Maintain a clean and safe work area and abide by all safety regulations and requirements. Qualifications: -Ability to be in a stationary position for long periods of time. -Must be comfortable wearing PPE (gloves, goggles/face shield, hearing protection, hard hat, vest, and any other required safety equipment) for the duration of the shift. -Ability to move and maneuver lumber weighing up to 50 lbs. -Multitask and work in a team environment.
