rehoming small older dog

Hi I'm looking to find a better home environment for my dog. Toby is 10 years old, around 12lbs, and the shelter guessed that he's a chihuahua/terrier mix. He's a very affectionate lap dog. He loves cats and can get along well with small dogs. His favorite thing to do at home is to sit in his bed at a window and watch birds/people/cars go by. His back legs give him some trouble. It's easier for him to walk on grass and sand. He takes a daily medication for a grass/pollen allergy. Recently the vet put him on an anti-anxiety medication but I think in a better environment, this wouldn't be necessary. His ideal home environment would be someone who is home a lot (maybe someone retired or works from home) and lots of treats and pets! Unfortunately I have a new career that requires me to work very long hours and it isn't good for him. Feel free to call or text.
