We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented warehouse LEAD to join our team and manage efficient, safe, and effective receipt, storage, inventory, and dispatch of our warehoused goods. In addition to overseeing the operations of the warehouse, you will also be responsible for managing the warehouse staff of 5-9 team members. This critical role works closely with the Operations, Marketing and Sales departments to ensure the timely delivery of all orders. The successful candidate will have strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as strong problem-solving abilities and basic math skills. In addition, this person must be comfortable managing, planning, assigning, and directing the work of team members to safely and successfully perform daily responsibilities and meet established expectations. This position includes a lot of dispatching orders and attention to detail is a must. We take pride in every product we ship. You will primarily be responsible for packaging orders, keeping the warehouse clean and inventory check-list. Other duties will include inspecting, packaging, and shipping/receiving. You must have your own mode of transportation and be local. Also you must be able to lift 50+ lbs. Warehouse hours are from 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday-Friday. Responsibilities: • Control and manage inventory • Supervise staff and oversee daily operations • Enforce all company Rules and Regulations • Ensure a high degree of detail and focus on every job • Maintain the overall general upkeep and housekeeping of the warehouse and surrounding areas • Pull and stage inventory for orders (anywhere from 1 lb-50+ lb) • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization • Examine, recommend, and implement systems, controls, procedures and policies that improve inventory efficiency and accountability • Manage team members and shipping requests promptly • Assist in the process of unloading and loading inventory from delivery trucks • Operates warehouse equipment in a safe manner • Demonstrate flexibility to perform various job roles within the warehouse as assigned • Proactively make suggestions to drive continuous improvement • Resolve issues quickly • Work collaboratively with a variety of departments Requirements • 2+ years' experience in a warehouse supervisory role • Experience with Warehouse Floor Supervisory System (implementation or management) • Demonstrated experience in inventory control • Proven knowledge of warehouse Policies and Procedures • Excellent problem-solving skills • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills • Able to work with all levels of staff • Positive attitude / self-motivated • Must be able to prioritize and work well under pressure • Must exhibit great attention to detail
