Top-notch home staging company located in Vernon, is seeking a super Warehouse Manager/Operations Manager for our home staging business. We decorate houses with furniture, artwork and accessories before the house is put up for sale. Our warehouse is currently 8,000SF. Most of our jobs are located in the San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles and North OC. Prefer full time, but willing to be flexible with hours late in the day. We only work M-F. No weekends, no nights except for occasional texts or emails. Work typically starts at 7:30-8:00 AM and we usually finish by 3:00 or 4:00PM. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): +Managing and maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly manner +Managing the moving crew in the warehouse and while loading and unloading trucks +Managing the moving crew during staging and destaging jobs +Handling inventory management with our RFID-based inventory system (We'll train you) +Scheduling and communicating the schedule with the movers and other managers Please apply if you can: + Lift and carry heavy furniture (up to 80 lbs), including up and down stairs, on and off trucks, etc. While moving furniture isn't a primary part of this job, you may need to assist the movers as needed or move furniture once it's placed in a house. + Know how to correctly and safely use tools like hammer, drill gun, screw driver, box cutter + Add, subtract and divide fractions (measurements) for hanging art -- this is a job critical skill + Be careful with expensive furniture while installing in customer's home + Always work in a safe manner and will follow company guidelines + Legally and safely drive a 26' box truck (job critical) + Use your smart phone and can send and respond to text messages and sign into our time tracking app + Have valid CA driver's license and insurance with clean driving record (Can provide DMV print-out) + Have reliable transportation available whenever you need to get to work or drive to different job sites. + Final candidate must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening Payroll is via a payroll company bi-weekly. We do not pay cash. You will be a company employee - no 1099's. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CAN ONLY WORK NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS. WE ONLY WORK DAYS MONDAY - FRIDAY.
