REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS FOR WAREHOUSE PICKERS (varies based on the department): ⇒ Prior experience working in a warehouse or relative work environment (minimum 1 year experience is desired) ⇒ Must be physically able to perform heavy lifting ⇒ Experience working in a refrigerated environment (32°-38°F) ⇒ Experience operating a Seated Electric Forklift ⇒ Must be able to perform heavy lifting ⇒ Must be able to work Monday-Saturday (6 day work week - no exceptions) ⇒ Must be OK with working in a meat packaging environment that includes pork products RESPONSIBILITIES: QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN Monitor and document critical control points (CCP's), product quality-related checks on production lines consistently and accurately. Verify employees are following GMP's and food safety protocols at all times. Inspect finished goods for adherence to customer specifications. Conduct random audits of product to verify quality parameters such as label accuracy, weight range verifications, packaging integrity, tares, REQUIREMENTS: Two to three (2-3) years of previous QA experience required. Able to work in a refrigerated environment for long periods of time. Must be able to stand for long periods of time during production, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Have a good working relationship with federal USDA inspectors and other third party auditors. Able to read & write in English - for documentation purposes. College degree preferred.
