Maintenance Technician needed for Apartment Communities

Maintenance Technician is needed full time for our Apartment Complex in Gillette, Wyoming. Job duties and Responsibilities: Tech will be responsible, under the direction of the Site Manager and District Manager, for overall maintenance and efficient operation of the apartment complex and all areas related to the day-to-day upkeep and maintenance operation of the property buildings and grounds in a supportive role. Essential duties may include: 1.) Electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting 2.) Drywall repair 3.) Cleaning vacant units to prepare them for new tenants 4.) Cleaning the community building and grounds 5.) Make ready units for new move-ins by performing all needed maintenance 6.) Repairing and treating interior structures and building exteriors 7.) Maintain a written inventory of all supplies and equipment 8.) Complete grounds work including grounds pick up, snow removal, sweeping and light landscaping 9.) Schedule and complete preventative maintenance program 10.) Responsible for 24 hour on call emergency maintenance 11.) Coordinate special projects as directed 12.) Report unusual circumstances regarding the property or residence 13.) Secure the maintenance shop at the end of each day Must maintain a professional and courteous manner with resident, visitors, contractors and fellow employees. Appropriate work attire is required. Must have the necessary tools to effectively complete tasks as outlined above. A valid drivers license and dependable vehicle are also required.
