Job# AS0867P Under general supervision of the Manager of Grounds and Landscape Services, the Lead Groundsworker plans, trains, coordinates, and inspects the work of groundsworkers; oversees and assists in side-by-side work of up to ten employees engaged in general grounds maintenance work or grounds projects. Oversees two to five employees performing athletic field maintenance, and provides leadership for grounds maintenance in the housing complex. The Lead Groundsworker is assigned to areas of the campus grounds and may assist in more specialized work such as: equipment operation, irrigation repairs, tree trimming and athletic facility preparation such as lining fields.
