L4 Property Services Carpenter Foreman Job Description L4 Property Services, located in Rockville, MD is a full-service demolition, disaster restoration; and commercial and post-construction cleaning company providing support to government, commercial, and residential customers throughout the DC Metro area. We are seeking additional Carpenter Foreman to join our team. Responsibilities include serving as a Team Lead in the preparation and management of jobs, transporting teams and materials to job sites, ensuring that Teams are working effectively, efficiently and safely while on the job site. Our primary service area is Montgomery County, MD. Additional surrounding counties in MD, DC and Virginia serviced as well. At L4 Property Services, our philosophy is different. As a Carpenter Foreman, duties include but are not limited to: - Performs and supervises the work of skilled and semi-skilled subordinates engaged in general commercial construction jobsite carpentry work. - Typical Jobsite Tasks include: setting of safety barriers, setting of floor protection, coordination of dumpsters, daily site progress cleaning, site water extraction, coordination and oversite of weekly composite cleaning crew, and any other assignments from the onsite Project Manager and Superintendents. - Establishes standards for safety and performance for subordinates and inspects quantity and quality of work against these standards - Maintains and reports material, labor, and time costs. - Performs related work as required. Selected candidates must be: - Prompt and timely in all facets of the role. - Focused on the details in everything we do. - Have the utmost integrity. - 100% work ethic. Ideal candidates must possess: - General construction, materials, and tools knowledge. - Ability to safely use all power tools and accurately cut wood and other building materials. - Ability to lead a 3-4 person Team and keep a job running efficiently and within budgeted timeframe. - OSHA 30, CPR and First Aid Certification Preferred - A 100% customer service mindset. - Clear communication skills, bi-lingual Spanish/English REQUIRED. - Must be a team player. - High attention to detail. - Appearance must be neat and clean at all times to effectively represent company. - Flexibility to work a variety of scheduled hours, whether day, night or weekend. - Ability to perform manual labor, lifting up to 50 lbs. continuously. - U.S. Citizenship preferred, due to requirements of Government client work sites. - Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work each day. - Must pass criminal background check including drug screen.
