Hiring Sub Contractor to build Gable Awning in backyard. This awning will be free standing and sitting on concrete. 1. Size 14x16. Clearance height at least 7 foot. 2. 6x6 Cedar Post and Cedar Gables to be left exposed / open. 3. Shingle roof to match existing house roof as close as possible. I understand it wont be exact. 4. Awning rafters / standard framing materials - pine. To give you an idea I have attached a picture. Its a standard, gable awning. I have ordered the majority of materials and they are onsite at my home. Some misc materials will be needed. I own a commercial construction business in Las Colinas, we build upscale sky rises. This is not a project for my subs. This is a project for you. Paying cash, I purchased all materials and they are onsite. I will pay for any remaining material items you need. With that being said please do not ask me for a draw or 30% draw up front as typically this covers your initial material expense.
