5 Jobs - Concrete Demo and Patching, Treecutting, Fence or Earthmoving

Jobs

438 W Gordon Street near Penn Street, Allentown PA

Description

I am looking for offers any or all of the following tasks: 1. Jackhammer (or sledgehammer if you are a masochist) the steps, curb, and some of the concrete footers for some of the posts shown in the pictures. (Fence or driveway option) 2. Jackhammer the top half (vertically, about 1/3rd of volume) of steps, curb, and some of the concrete footers for some of the posts shown in the pictures. (Driveway option) 3. Move and grade 10-12 cubic yards of dirt or stone from the alley down into the yard to make a 20' long ramp. Hopefully I can get it dumped into the lot, but given how narrow the street is, I think they likely will have to dump right into the alley. Fortunately, it is downhill. (Driveway option) 4. Install 3-rail, 5 post, 6' tall, 16' long long pressure treated picket fence. (Fence Option) 5. Patch concrete sidewalk (Either fence or driveway option, less if driveway) 6. Move concrete rubble 15' to neighbor's property, who will gladly take it for fill (Fence option) 7. Remove the mulberry tree to the left in the picture to ground level. If you are not a professional with tree removal, don't ask or offer to cut the tree as a personal challenge. There are power lines, its a tall tree, there are houses in the fall distance, and I am just not willing to take the risk. References and work examples will be important to me on this one. (Driveway option) I am in the process of determining with the city to see if I can get a parking lot placed here, onto the back alley (Wayne Street). If I can, then I will likely not need to remove the bottom half (vertically, or about 2/3rds by volume) of the steps. If I can put in a driveway, I will also be looking to have about 11 cubic yards of dirt or stone moved from the alley to make a ramp up to the street. Most of the pictures were taken after the old fence was removed. I included some photos before the fence was removed because they show the concrete steps closer and better. You are responsible for your own safety and tools. Let me know if your proposal includes materials or if that is another cost to be determined. No concrete disposal required, though will take a proposal to move the concrete about 15' to the neighbors yard, who will gladly take it, if I decide to go with the fencing option. I likely need the tree removed, though the neighbor two houses over may want the wood if the trunk is chopped into 2-3' segments. General Craigslist Post Disclaimers: I respect both our time, and will delete or update the post when it is taken. If this ad is up, it is still available. If you ask if I still want the work, you run the risk of me ignoring your inquiry. Instead, make a proposal or ask questions about the job to be able to do so. Contact only about these jobs. We have no need for assistance from Nigerian Princes nor from people who send too much money via check or money order and want to receive a cash refund. Thanks.
