The Schochet Companies Are Hiring. Country Glen Apartments are\ now accepting resumes for a Porter. Country Glen Apartments is a 300+unit market apartment community located in Groton, CT. Duties may include, but are not limited to: 1. Touch up cleaning of vacant apartments. 2. Clean and polish all common areas as scheduled by supervisor. Duties may include vacuuming and shampooing carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, washing windows, cleaning office areas, and common area bathrooms. 3. Snow removal as assigned by supervisor. 4. Delivery of notices to each unit as requested by management. 5. Assist maintenance and/or property management staff by providing outside vendors with access to apartment units. 6. Walk the property daily collecting trash and replacing burned out light bulbs as needed. 7. Cleaning of the pool and spa, as needed. 8. Assist maintenance with moving appliances and other large items. The Porter position requires that an individual be able to lift moderate weights of between 30-60 lbs. on a regular basis and the ability to stand and/or walk all day. In addition, occasional heavy lifting may be required. Valid driver’s license and own transportation required to drive around property when needed.
