Position Title: Delivery Driver/Warehouse Department: Materials & Warehouse General Purpose Support daily activities required to meet the needs of the business. Warehouse members are responsible for all freight movement - unloading, loading, delivery, pick-up, and fulfillment. This position requires strong attention to detail, quality control and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Roles Delivery of flooring Materials Load small packages and skids into trucks, vans, and trailers for jobsite delivery. Engages with jobsite crews and co-workers with a positive attitude when delivering material. Maintains a clean and safe work area; truck or van. Delivery of materials to various locations both commercial and residential Unloading Unload small packages and skids from trucks, vans, and trailers at jobsites Inspects material for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel when unloading at job site. Vendor Pick-Up Maintains accurate records/paperwork of daily vendor pick-ups Vehicle Maintenance Inspects delivery vehicles and ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process. Maintains delivery vehicles (check fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc) for the purpose of ensuring safe operation of vehicle Qualifications/Skills: Must have a current driver’s license with acceptable MVR Good written and verbal communication skills Strong sense of time organization and urgency Able to work independently and within a team While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and move 50 to 100 Become part of a fun and hardworking team for a growing company!
