Drummer Bassist looking for metal band

Highly experienced drummer (touring and studio) looking to play drums or bass (preferred) in a local metal band for fun. Any type of metal, but preferably thrash or melodic death. With a stable life, I can’t devote too much time to this now. A garage or live stream band will work very well. Or an occasional local gig when things are back to normal. Preferably 40 years or older. Moms and Pops will be great. Or anyone with the same mindset. Some of the more we’ll know bands I like: Slayer, Cannibal Corpse, Arch Enemy, Soilwork, Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, etc. I’m open to playing drums (primary instrument) and bass but prefer to play bass now. I’m still learning bass, so you’ll have to be a bit patient. I’m fairly good with music theory and play the piano and acoustic guitar. So I just need to get used to the longer bass neck and the tougher strings. I don’t have a place to practice, but I hope to keep the drive to about 20 min each way.
